A couple races are quickly approaching, D&P 4, and a new 80's themed race. Obviously I won't be racing in D&P 4 since it's just for the ladies (though the idea of dressing up in drag and seeing if they'll allow it has crossed my mind once or twice), but I'm looking forward to the race on the twentieth. That said, I don't really have any 80s clothes so, time to go hit up the salvation army or something...
Long past due as far as posting about it goes, the 100 miles of nowhere ride was a good time. There was free food and good company all around. Nobody wrecked ( that I saw), and the neighborhood was nice and calm, making it a great place for half-drunk, idiot cyclist to ride around in circles on and off for a number of hours.
Sadly this past Wednesday was, in all probability, the last Wednesday nighter that I'll be attending for the next two months. Though there is always the Sunday dinner ride now, which will have to suffice.
I'll leave things with the 80s ride flier (since D&P4 doesn't seem to have one that I can find):
